  • Recording files management: open SettingsAdvancedRecording files. Use it to rename, delete, and batch delete recordings.

Shared Features

Search and Preview

If you have many recordings, search by recording name. Clear the search box to return to the full list.

Recordings are sorted in reverse chronological order, so the most recent recordings appear near the top and are easier to find.

Before sending or deleting a recording, preview it to make sure the content is complete and does not include passwords, verification codes, private keys, or other sensitive information.

If a recording is marked Recording interrupted, preview only plays the part that was saved.

Start a New Recording

If none of the existing recordings is suitable, you can start recording from the current window. This is useful when you intended to use an older recording but realize you need to demonstrate the workflow again.

Once recording starts, the current window closes and the floating recorder bar appears. You can open Recording files again while recording to find and attach older recordings.

Rename and Delete

You can rename and delete recordings in either place:

  • Select recording file dialog: hover over a recording to show the Edit and Delete buttons. This is suitable for quickly renaming or deleting a single recording.
  • Recording files management: the Edit button appears next to recordings; after selecting recordings, click Delete. This is best for managing recordings, especially batch deletion.

When renaming, press Enter or click outside the input box to save. Press Esc to cancel. Names can be up to 18 characters.

Agivar asks for confirmation before deleting. After confirmation, the recordings are removed from Recording files.

warning

Make sure you no longer need a recording before deleting it. If you delete a recording that is still processing, its remaining processing work is stopped too.

Special Statuses

Processing / QueuedAttach it first and wait for processing to finish before sending, or delete it if you no longer need it.
Not processedAttach it to the input bar if you still want to use it; Agivar will process it again.
Recording interruptedPreview the saved part first. If more steps are needed, continue it from the selector.

Select Recording File Dialog

The selector is mainly for attaching saved recordings to the current message.

Attach to a Message

  1. Select the recordings you want to send.
  2. If you need several recordings, you can continue selecting other recordings while one is uploading.
  3. Click Select.

You can select up to 5 recordings at once.

Processed recordings can be sent with your message. Recordings that are still processing must finish before you can send.

If you selected the wrong recording, click it again to deselect it.

Continue or handle an interrupted recording

If a recording is marked Recording interrupted and more steps are needed, click the green continue recording button on the recording.

Continuing appends new actions to the original recording. The total recording length is limited to 10 minutes, and a recording cannot be continued once it reaches that limit. If a demonstration cannot be completed within 10 minutes, record several videos and upload them together. You can select up to 5 recordings at a time.

Recording Files Management

Recording files management is mainly for maintaining saved recordings, especially when you need to delete several recordings.

Batch Delete

To delete several recordings at once, select the recordings you no longer need, then click Delete.
