Start a Conversation
Start a conversation quickly
After you open Agivar and sign in, you can start a conversation directly from the input box in the center of the screen.
You can type task instructions in the input box, or click the microphone icon in the lower-right corner and dictate your instructions.
Choose a mode
Click Task Mode in the lower-left corner of the input box to switch modes. Agivar currently supports two modes: Task Mode and Teach Mode. Choose the mode that fits what you need so Agivar can work more effectively.
Task Mode
In Task Mode, Agivar starts working on your instructions as soon as it receives them. This mode is suitable for everyday needs such as simple questions and answers, straightforward computer operations, and generating files to your specifications.
Teach Mode
In Teach Mode, Agivar can learn specific ways of completing tasks through screen recordings, voice notes, and other demonstrations. It can also learn your workflow from a recording and reproduce it later. This mode is suitable for repetitive but specialized work and for workflows that are difficult to describe with words and images alone.
Attachments: images and recordings
You can add attachments in the input bar. Two types are currently supported: images and screen recordings.
Image attachments
- Click Image and pick a local image (png / jpg / jpeg / gif / bmp / webp).
- The image is uploaded as an attachment. Once the upload finishes, Agivar can "see" it.
- Common uses: send a screenshot of an error to Task Mode to deal with; illustrate a UI in Teach Mode.
Recording attachments
- Click Record → Start screen recording to begin, or click Select recording file and choose a recording so Agivar can read an already processed recording. For the floating bar, voice annotations, and processing flow, see Screen Recording and Voice Notes.
- Recording uploads work differently from image uploads. A recording keeps its raw frames and mouse and keyboard events locally, while the cloud stores the processed keyframes, video summary, and operation description.
- After you stop a recording, it automatically enters background processing. The attachment card shows progress as "elapsed X / ETA ~Y." While it is processing, you can keep adding explanatory text and other attachments, but the Send button is temporarily disabled. The button becomes available, and the attachment and instructions can be sent, only after processing finishes.
Recording preview
After recording, open the preview dialog to play back what you captured. Available controls are ▶ Play / ⏸ Pause / ⟲ Replay. If you are not satisfied with the recording, delete it and record again.
Tips
- A single message or instruction can include multiple attachments.
- Do not capture sensitive content such as passwords or CAPTCHAs in a recording (see Tips for better recordings).
